Just about every alliance requires that you register on forums and get alliance approval for joining so if you did not register or get their ok, then that may be why they called you a ghost.

Don't worry about that anymore. We'll help you out. If your active and communicate we can set up tech deals so you can profit about $2.3mil from each deal. I see you have a good trade set going, so if you complete it then you don't need to switch to blue team. But if we get a trade circle that just needs you then we'd hope you would join it and switch to blue.
